More Pictures!

She's starting to smile all the time now! She loves to be called "pretty" and "Princess". It almost always makes her smile. We love it!
Camri loves to bring Capri toys and especially loves reading her books. She is such a sweet and loving big sister!
She's already a Daddy's girl! I love how they were just gazing at each other. Sweet.

If only I could get her to smile when the camera is out. I just can't seem to get a good one.

Sister Shirts!

Little Sister is getting big! She is (at almost 7 weeks) wearing a size two diaper, size three month clothes, and weighing in at almost 13 lbs, at least according to our scale at home.

This is why I don't have many pictures of Camri alone up. See her enthusiasm for being photographed solo? As long as she is in a picture with her sister she tolerates it.
The (not so) Little Sister, and the Big Sister!
Do you think the girls look alike? Their hair color and eye shape look alike to me.
Posted by PicasaI love how her hair is standing up like a crazy lady! She is even waking up with "bed head". She has a ton of hair.

Capri

Our littlest girl is almost 7 weeks. Crazy. She is getting so big, and we are having so much fun with her. I just wanted family to get to see the rolls they will be able to squeeze in about a week! Thats right kids, we're going back to Utah, again! We'll be there from the 3rd until the 22nd. Let me tell you, we'll sure miss the lovely humidity that VA has been offering us. (NOT!!)
Lovely leg rolls. I keep telling her to enjoy the non-stop eating now, cause these rolls are only cute the first couple years. My mom keeps joking with me asking me when I'll be putting her on the treadmill. Never, is the answer. Those legs are too cute!
did you know babies have "foot rolls''? I never did, but they sure do! And we're still loving her freakishly long toes.

Camri is doing so good this week! We have been back to the gym, and she seems to have re-potty trained herself this week. (Thank heaven!) She is so much fun. We have been taking her swimming in the evenings when it isn't completely miserable out. She is a fish! She loves swimming with her floaties, which actually make her float this year! Very convenient. She likes to jump off the side of the pool and into the water by herself and Steve is working with her on holding her breath underwater. She amazes me everyday with the funny things she says and the observations she makes. Does life get any better that this?

Our Daddy!

I seriously have the best hubby. He loves his girls more than anything and that's my favorite thing about him. Here are some of my favorite pics of him with the girls. Happy Fathers Day Daddy! We all love you!
Meeting Capri
Holding Camri
I love how he is never afraid to be silly with the girls...
Plus, he's a hunk. ( At least I think so)
He's always willing to get in on the action

Here he is with Cam.

I can't even tell you how awesome this guy is. Sure, he leaves laundry everywhere, and his dishes rarely make it to the dishwasher, but he is the best father, and most supportive, loving husband a girl could ask for. He puts up with me even though I am almost impossible. I'm so thankful I found him. I love you babe. Happy Fathers Day!

Daddy's Girls!

I'm really trying to get more pictures with the girls, now if only I could get Camri to sit still long enough to get some pictures with her...
I loved this outfit on her- our cute little hula monkey! And of course I had to make a bow to go with it... I have a serious bow addiction.

She Really Hates Tummy Time...See?!

Capri has never really liked tummy time. At about two weeks old she rolled over from her tummy to her back. We all thought it was just a fluke, but she has been doing in ever since then. Apparently, she hates tummy time more than most of the little ones her age. That or she is just more resourceful than most. She maneuvers her arms up ( like she is doing planks) and then kicks her hips up until her body goes over. It's kind of funny, she works really hard to get over, and some of the time( like in this video) it scares her and she starts to cry. The only way to keep her from doing it is to pin her arms underneath her when we put her on her stomach. Today was the first day I thought to capture the phenomenon. This little girl is insanely funny and sweet. She is even starting to smile! Hopefully I'll be able to get a picture of that soon, but every time I try she turns grumpy. (She may look like Steve, but she still has my disposition.)

Fun in the Sun!

Today for playgroup we all got together at a friends house and let the kids play in the pool, eat lunch, and enjoy the sun. It was super hot, but Camri sure enjoyed it. I really need to be better about getting her outside more. I'm still nervous about having a baby out in this heat, and poor little Camri is really paying for it. Capri was a good little girl and slept through most of the fun, tolerating the heat about as well as possible. We all had a blast today, so I thought I'd put up proof that we do get out. Occasionally.

Mommy and Capri

It's funny, but I never have pictures of me with my kiddo's. Ever. I guess we could chalk that up to me being the photo-obsessed freak in the family. My sweet mother in law took this picture of Capri and I. I love it, even if I look like exhausted and have no makeup on. Look at my sweet little girl. I feel so blessed for my sweet girls. Now if I could just get Camri to hold still long enough to get a picture with....

The Clawson Clan Comes to Town!

Amy loved holding Capri, and Capri didn't seem to mind it either!

On Saturday we decided to brave the heat and go to the Richmond Metro Zoo. We had so much fun, despite the humidity.

I love this picture of Camri and Amy! Camri loves her aunt so much.
Here the girls are in their matching Ariel shirts Grandma Sonja got them! Camri was so excited to match Amy!
One of our favorite things about this zoo is that you can feed the giraffes!

Capri's Newborn Photo's

Since Camri was beyond done with pictures by the time we got to the family ones, we really don't have any of her with us. So sad, so we're re-doing some family pics later this month. I wish I could've gotten her to cooperate, I hate seeing a family picture with out her, it just isn't complete.
Remember, I'm obsessed with her toes...
The cheesiest smile known to man...

I think this one (above) is my favorite shot.
We finally got Capri's newborn photo's back from the photographer yesterday! We really liked a lot of them, so here are my fav's. She was 9 days old when we had them taken. Camri wasn't really cooperating (imagine that!) so the pic's with the two girls aren't my favorite. I guess that means I need to take some of the two of them myself, aye? It's crazy to think how fast she's growing. She is in the 97% for weight, and is already 3 lbs bigger than she was at birth!
