Another False Alarm!

So glad to report that at my ultrasound on Monday, everything looked great! They guessed that she is weighing in at a whopping 7 lbs. 7oz. So, with two weeks until my induction we now know there is nothing "small" about this baby! In fact, I hope she doesn't grow too much more... :) Camri was only 7 lbs. 3 oz. ! Camri and I went to have the ultrasound done, and this time she did sooo much better, she didn't even yell at the technician this time. She was excited to see her baby sister, and kept telling me she would help me get her binki, and a new diaper, and hold her. It really was too cute. Now lets hope she's as thrilled when Capri gets here! I just keep looking at this picture and thinking about how much she looks like Camri did when she was a newborn. They have the same nose and mouth, and I think their eyes will be similar too. I wish the little stinker would have woken up and moved that little arm out of the way, but she was out cold and in no mood to cooperate. So, the view of her face isn't great, but you can't miss her little arm and hand in fron t of it. We are so excited to get her safely here, as long as it's after all of Steve's finals are done! We can't wait to meet her, and since my due date is in 9 days, we don't have to much longer! I am set to be induced on May 10th, if all goes well. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Huh?!?

Here is my baby bump at 38 weeks. I thought it was coming along nicely, but my doc disagrees. She says my tummy hasn't grown in three weeks and I am almost a month behind as far as growth goes. That said, we are scheduled on Monday for yet another growth ultrasound. The plus: I get another super awesome 3/4 D ultrasound. The minus: It is a bit worriesome to think the baby isn't growing. But, since this is the same thing that happened last time, and Capriel was in the 60th percentile for growth, I am not going to worry about it for the time being. I think she just likes to hang out in my butt and hips. ( Those are off the charts for growth!! ;) ) Wish me luck, and keep your fingers crossed the baby is growing faster than my waistline indicates... And isn't Camri cute? We were taking belly pictures and she just had to show hers off too. What a goon.

Camri Updates!

Aside from blowing bubbles, swinging at the park (for hours on end...), and generally raising mischief, her new found love is for carrots and ranch dip. Steve took this picture through our glass door on Saturday after we got home from the gym. It is becoming one of our favorite things to come home from the gym and sit on the porch and eat carrots and ranch. Well, I eat the carrots, but Camri mostly uses it as a spoon for the ranch.
As always, this girl loves to RUN! Lately her biggest catchphrase is " I wanna ruuunn, Mommy!" and of course, my favorite- "I want to do it all by myself, Mommy!". She is wanting to get her own doors, buckle her own seat belt, and get her own food from the fridge. Our little girl is turning into Miss Independent. It's cute, but it sure takes a lot more time to let her do everything on her own.

Her newest hobby is picking "flowers" around the apartments. So far we haven't had her pick anything but dandelions and other weeds, but I am waiting for the day when my back is turned and she plucks out someones prize winning roses.... Lets hope not.

She thinks it's hysterical to blow them at me... I don't really know why.

Here she is checking out the flower bush on the way to the park. I told her she couldn't pick them, so she had to touch and smell them instead.

We sure love this girl, she is getting so big!

36 Weeks... Oh My!

I finally remembered to take another belly picture for memory's sake. When Steve took it though, I was a little disappointed because I don't think it showed how big I feel. So in the next few goofy shots I tried to stick my tummy out so you could get a better idea of how big it feels to me.
Sticking it all out!

"Does it look big NOW?" Uh, heck ya it does!

Four weeks till my due date!

Easter Sunday

The Easter Bunny left Camri a candy neclace, which is her candy of choice now a days...
Cammers opening her easter basket

Last year I took some pictures of Camri in her Easter dress out front of our apartment complex, so I thought I would make it a tradition and do the same this year. The weather was certainly nice enough for it. It was such a pretty day, and we had an awesome dinner with friends at our house. It definetely made me miss home though. The holidays do that to us. I'm not sure if it is just missing family, or the fact that if I want Easter dinner (which, I most certainly always will) I have to actually cook it myself. It makes me appreciate the Moms in my life. I never realized how much work goes into even small holidays. So, BIG thanks for all the "Moms" in our lives- we missed you yesterday. ;) That said, here are the pictures we got of Camri in her Easter dress. She is getting so big and beautiful.

I couldn't decide if I liked this one better in color or black and white... So here is both!

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!!

Fun in the Sun

On Friday night we had a fun bar-b-q with some friends at a park. We ate hotdogs, and played bocci. Ok, I didn't. I chased Camri around the park all evening. She must have run ten miles around the soccer field. Needless to say, she slept like a brick that night. Here are some pictures of Camri enjoying the sunshine.

Ready to start the hunt for Easter eggs!

Family Moment

Camri and Daddy searching for Easter eggs

Mommy and Camri... When she found the eggs she wanted to open them right away and eat the candy. It took us some convincing to get her to gather all the eggs before eating the candy out of them.

Finally, Some Good Weather!

Here she is coming at me while I was trying to take pictures of her. She was giving me kisses because she was going to the store to pick up milk and bread. Whenever she goes anywhere (even in her imagination) she will give you a kiss and say "see, you later". So cute. I love her little pucker.

Blowing kisses

Well, It finaly happened. Richmond got some good weather! I think it topped out at 75 yesterday and is supposed to get to 82 today. We have just been out enjoying the sunshine and heat. We played outside almost all day yesterday and today. I took Camri to the park, which she loved. I really think this kid gets cabin fever-- she was so much better behaved yesterday! Of course, Camri had to cruise around in the neighbors car. Here are some pictures of her enjoying the sun.
