Titan Turns One!!

I feel bad. I was on the verge of getting the flu and pneumonia right after Christmas, and I just couldn't muster the energy to throw him much of a party. But, I did make him cupcakes, and we did celebrate and let him smash his cupcake in his face.

He was so intrigued by the candle!

Until he ended up burning his finger on it. Not our proudest parenting moment. In our defense, we didn't think he'd try to touch it. Whoops. Luckily, he wasn't really hurt. I love the look on Camri's face here. She was almost as upset as he was.

Fortunately, he bounced back quickly and was able to enjoy the (candle-less) cupcake.

We all adore this sweet little boy. Happy Birthday, Titan.

Christmas 2013

On Christmas Eve we always open one present (Christmas jammies and a movie/treats). Here are the kids in front of our particularly pathetic little tree.

Titan loved playing with the ornaments on the tree.

Capri opening her "Sofia the First" Jammies.

She was very happy!

This year, Camri got "My Little Pony" jammies.

And one of Camri's favorite movies, The Wizzard of OZ.

The kids in their p.j.'s. I love Titan's "Ninja Turtles" jams. They are so cute on him and take me back to my childhood. the p.j.'s did not come with the cute necklace.

Christmas morning: Opening presents was much more excited for Capri this year. She really got into in and loved helping Cam and Ti open their presents too.

My happy, handsome blue-eyed boy. Love this Mister.

I love Capri's sweet smile. She was so happy.

Capri and Mommy with her new "special" blanket.

The girls both got bow and arrow sets this year, and it was certainly the favorite gift. They spend most of the day shooting at the window, trying to get the arrows to stick. It was really cute.

This year, the kids got Daddy a Superman T-Shirt. Camri picked it out, just for him.

The kids had a wonderful Christmas this year. We were on our on own again, and while it is nice to sit around all day in our jammies, eating delicious treats, we still missed our families too.
