CHECK THIS OUT!!

Gooooo Camri! She is standing for longer and longer periods! We are so amazed by her! She is also officially a stair climber. I try to keep her away from them but she knows they are a quick way to get my attention, the little devil. She will crawly up and put her hands on the first stair and give me the " come and get me" grin. It is a game to torture and scare the daylight out of mama these days. ( anyone have a good idea on barricading a set of stairs that only has one wall and the other side a metal banister? A baby gate doesn't work.) She climbed all fourteen of our stairs yesterday in about a minute and a half. She's incredible! She is completely fearless, which scares the crap out of me! Thanks and we hope everyone is doing good. Oh, and I weighed the chunky monkey today and she is 17 lb 15 oz!

A New Hobby!

Camri has found a new hobby. Destruction! But seriously, she loves to crawl over to the bookcase and tear every dvd she can get her hands on. Then she crawls around on them and slips and falls. She got a cut on her nose doing this just the other day and I was freaking out because she was bleeding. Her first boo boo was more traumatic for me than her I think, but she is doing fine and it is healing. She has been into everything lately, her favorite thing to do is get in the kitchen drawer where I keep the ziploc baggies and tear them out of the box and distribute them about the house. She is keeping me on my toes, but we are all having a lot of fun!

Camri Goes Swimming!

When we took her to the ocean, she didn't like it much so we were pleasantly suprised when we took her to the pool and she loved it. She was kicking and moving around like a little frog. Until Mommy accidentally dunked her. OOPS!

Virginia Beach!

On Tuesday we went to Virginia Beach, which is about two hours away from us. Camri was a total angel and slept the whole way down. Once we were there we thought we would see how Camri liked the water. She didn't. She would shriek at the top of her lungs if even her little toes touched the water. Oddly enough, she prefered to sit on the beach and eat the sand. I didn't catch the first handful but I got what I could out of her mouth. That turned into a game and the rest of the afternoon we played "keep the sand out of Camri's mouth". She thought it was hysterical, as you can see if you enlarge that last picture, she still has sand all over her mouth. It was about a hundred degree's at about 100% humidity though, and Steve and I got a little sunburned. Ouch. All in all it was a wonderful trip and we love it out here!

Our Trip to VCU!

On Monday we went to VCU to see where Steve would be spending the next four years. We were able to meet a few of his professors, and see his class rooms. The one with Steve in it is the place where he will do his clinical work! Doesn't he already look the part? We are so proud of him, and he can't wait to get started!

Uncle Brandon bought Camri the Yankees bucket hat, so of course we had to take pictures. Thanks again, Debi.

Fourth of July... A Little Late!

We had so much fun on the fourth of July! We spent the morning in Plain City at the carnival and the afternoon with the Clawson Clan. It was sad to think about it being our last real holiday at home for at least five monts, but we made the most of our time. Yet again, we didn't stay awake for the fireworks... so sad to be so young and so old at the same time. Ha, ha!
These Pictures were taken in the same place that Steve proposed to me! We took them on the Fourth of July, at Layton Park. Steve left for Virginia the next day in a big yellow Penske truck.
Have you ever seen a cuter couple of kids? Kyle and Camri really enjoyed the poppers that spit out all those bright papers! They played in them on the trampoline at Grandma and Grandpa Clawson's house where we spent the afternoon on the fourth.
Auntie Debi and Camri (along with the mystery baby) LOL!

Work in Progress....

Hello, I just wanted to let everyone know that we are doing well and that Steve left this Saturday and I think he said he and Gary are somewhere in Missouri today. I fly out this Friday night to meet him in Virginia. Packing was a bit of a challenge with Camri CRAWLING around the place! Then she got Rosiola, I don't know if that is how you spell it but it was basically a few days with a fever (and being extremely cranky) and then out of the blue she got a terrible rash. Luckily it went away after a couple of days. We had a really nice open house where we were able to see most of our closest friends and family, thanks to everyone who came and helped organize it. I will get pictures up of that when we get settled in Virginia. I will have a slough of pictures to post then. We also had an awesome Fourth of July, spending time with our families is always a blast. We are going to miss everyone so much! I will play catch up in a week or so and until then we send our love and wish us luck on our big move!
