The Latest and Greatest

All week long she has been climbing all over her chair. She steps up on it, then tries to step down off it, completely face plants, then repeats. She is trying to master coming down the stairs the "big girl" way. Talk about scary. I guess thats what she's been practicing for on her chair?
She has also gone book crazy this week. For the first time ever, she has been sitting through whole stories and going back to her book shelf and bringing me new books to read her. I bet we read for two hours last Friday. Crazy. She loves to point things out in the books and show off her vocabulary. ( Which grows all the time! So fun!)

This is the sight on Saturday morning. We were feedind her yogurt while our Saturday morning pancakes were cooking. Looks like her baby got hungry. I love to watch her try to give her babies her milk and bottles. This is the first time I have seen her try to slip the baby her solid food though.

We took Camri outside to play for a while on Saturday since we were all feeling a little cooped up. She loved kicking the soccer ball around.

Our Spring Break!

I love this face....
Ignore the obvious need of a kleenex... yuck.

Don't worry, Steve was standing just outside these shots in case she decided she wanted out of the tree.

Someday I'll learn how to put these pictures up in order... just not today. Sorry!

Steve and I took on various projects around the house but this one I am particularly proud of. It only took me 15 months 3 weeks to get my butt in gear! I have been telling friends and family that I was going to do this since we had Camri! Her letters are finally done! I think they really add to her room.

Are the huge flowers too much? Hmmmm....

I was yelling, trying to get her attention when out of nowhere she looked right at me and screamed back. Too funny.

Not Updating for at Least a Week! Deal With It!

After doing more blogging in one night than I thought physically possible, I am officially DONE updating this thing until after spring break! Love you all, have a good week. I loved this video. I know you can't hear it but there is some music that started playing from someone's car stereo and Camri just had to dance. It looks like she is going to throw a hip out one of these days!

This video made me laugh. She kept running, then falling, getting dirt on her hands. She was so disgusted by it and just didn't know what to do. We got it on video after she did it a couple times. I think she is going to be a clean freak like Mommy someday!

New Outfit

Here she is in her cute new springy outfit. She didn't keep the hat on through most of church, but she suprised us all by keeping it on through Madison Heinz birthday party! Astounding!

With A Face Like This, Who Needs Photoshop?

She is such a ham for the camera... Except when she isn't.
Ok.... I ended up playing a bit with the tuning in this one. I used Picasa, so that isn't photoshop right?

Finally!

I have been trying off and on since Valentines day to get this stinking video to post! I guess the fiftieth time was the charm! Enjoy!

Metro Richmond Zoo

On Saturday, to kick off spring break we took Camri to the Metro Richmond Zoo. Camri had a blast seeing all the animals, and got to help feed a few!

Here she is up close and personal to a giraffe. . . not sure she really knew what to think.

Here we are about to feed a zebra when. . .

He decided to help himself! You can see Steve saying "Hey!" Ashley caught the shot in the middle of the action. Pretty funny!

Can you tell that the zoo wiped Camri out? As we were walking out to the car this is what we saw once we got in the parking lot. . .

I've NEVER seen a peacock actually open up fully in real life! This guy decided to put on a show and Ashley got several gorgeous shots. I liked this one best because it's so close and shows all the beautiful colors!

Here Camri is soaking up the sunshine. . . it was such a beautiful day. Mid seventies, slightly cloudy with a slight warm breeze. . . perfect! Eat your hearts out Utah. Hehehe

These orangutans were sitting looking at us and posing, sticking out their tongues and watching us. That is, until Steve decided to take a picture in front of them. . . then they wouldn't sit still. Figures.... but the family pic turned out cute.

We went to the zoo with the Staffords, and ran into several others from our ward. Great minds think alike!

Trying to keep Camri still for this shot was difficult. She loved running around, especially down the hills while screaming "weee!"
