Making a Princess Pumpkin

When Grammy Sonja came to visit she bought these cute little decoations for Camri's pumpkin. It was really easy, so Camri was able to really help. Now she has fun taking out all the pieces, mixing them up and putting them back on. ( It's kind of like a Mr. Potato Head, but for a pumpkin.)

Carving Pumpkins with the Allreds

Camri was "helping" Sam carve her pumpkin. She was not a big fan of the pumpkin goo...

Yes, I made Steve carv the pumpkin again this year. I don't really care to do it, and he's so good at it. ( Or at least thats what I say so he'll do it.)

The finished pumpkins....

Pumpkin Patch!

I wanted to add this picture from last year to show how much she has grown! This was us almost a year ago exactly. She was sooo little, it almost pains me to see how fast the little ones grow.

On the hayride out to the fields

Here is Cammers trying to find the perfect pumpkin

She's such a big girl, she can pick it up on her own. Or maybe not...

She has grown so much this year!

We had so much fun this year at the Pumpkin Patch! It was super cold, and muddy, but we had a ball! Gramma Sonja anPosted by PicasaPapa Gary went along with us, and made it twice as fun. We ate hot donuts, drank cold "hot" chocolate and had a long hayride out to the field to pick our own pumpkins. Camri mostly loved the hayride, and trying to pick up pumpkins that weighed as much as she does. Thats our girl!

White Coat Ceremony!

This last Friday was Steve's White Coat Ceremony. This ceremony marks the time when the students move from doing all lab and classwork, to doing all that plus performing care on actual patients in the clinic. Congrats Babe!
Steve's Granfather was able to help "coat" him since he is a retired dentist. We were so tickled that he was able to do it. Thanks Bill!

Steve with his darling parents after the ceremony.

We are so proud of him, he works so hard and is going to be an amazing dentist!

A Visit from Gram Gram and Papa!

Gram Gram bought Cammers some playdough and accessories and they had a ball playing with it every day of their visit.

Grandma and Camri had a ton of laughs. What a cute pair they were.

Camri was so fascinated by Papa's big shoes. She would put them on, then fall over a step or two later.

Camri at Maymont

During Steve spring break (yes, I am that far behind on posts), we took Camri to run wild at Maymont Park. She loved the flowers and the gardens and having some room to run.

Fall Break, Laid Back Style

Steve and I figured that since Camri is about to turn two, it would be an injustice not to get her some Playdough already. After careful instructions to play with just one color at a time, and to not mix the colors I let her play with free reign while I fixed dinner. You know that little voice in your head that says, " gee, it is awfully quiet in here. How nice. Something must be terribly wrong." ? Well I ignored that voice and when I looked over this is what I saw. I knew it would happen. What child doesn't mix the playdough colors? She loved it, and I got a kick out of watching her try to roll it out and use cookie cutters to make shapes. Our little girls is getting so big. Don't you love the cheesy smile?

Since Steve was on fall break we decided to take Cammers out to the Children's Museum of Richmond. She LOVED it. She loved it so much we ended up getting a year long membership. They had all kinds of fun activities for her to do. Here she is painting a pretty picture with daddy. Miraculously, she didn't even get any pain on her clothes!

Here she is "milking the cow". She was totally intrigued by the udders.

They had an ambulance to play in, which she thought was amazing since she could drive it and play with the stereo and make the lights go off an on. Everything we don't let her do in our car.

Here she is working in the Mechanic shop. She worked on changing the tire and fiddled with the engine a bit until she discoved a buttong in the engine made the horn honk. It scared her and she was done playing with the car stuff. Guess she'll never be a mechanic.

Of course, Camri's favorite- the water toys. She had so much fun playing in the water. She was soaked by the time we ripped her away, but she loved every minute of it.
