Chesterfield Berry Farm

Yesterday we went to the Chesterfield Berry Farm. We thought we'd be able to pick some berries for ourselves but apparently that wasn't the case, it was more of a farmers market so we settled for buying our own berries. ( Ha, ha.) We bought peaches, sweet corn, 2 huge watermellon's that are sooo good, and blackberries. I have never been a huge blackberry fan but these were so amazing, we bought three cartons and have been munching non- stop. On the way home Cam wanted to sample a blackberry, and after an apprehensive nibble she yelled, "yuuummmy!! I want more please!! Mommy, Momm, I want more!" It was too funny, after her first whole berry she started smiling and singing. I think she enjoyed them...

Cammers loves watermellon, she had her eyes on the huge boxes full of them.

Camri mimmicking Daddy, testing out the watermellon.

Ya... so her face was stained with blackberries. Good thing it didn't get on her clothes. ( Don't aske me how she managed to avoid that!)

A Day at the Beach

What a difference a year makes. Last year she was really apprehensive about going into the water but when we took her last week she jumped right in. Completely fearless! She just wanted us to let go of her so she could do her own thing, so needless to say this year keeping tabs on her was a lot harder and much more important. We love our little daredevil. Her personality and spirit bring so much to our family and we are so thankful to have her.
She loved playing in the water, we could hardly get her to stop playing long enought to eat. This girl is a little fish.

She would scream and giggle everytime the water came up. It knocked her over a couple times and she even went completely under once or twice, but she never faltered. She would just get back up and go out for more.

I guss this is what pure joy looks like... She loved playing in the water.

Fish Face...

Sam, me and Debi having some fun in the sun.

Camri and Daddy took a long walk along the beach. Is that cute or what?

At the end of the day we were on our way home and I think it took her about two minutes on the road before she crashed. She had so much fun, but she wore herself right out!

Camri hanging out in the car with my sunglasses on... backwards.

Daddy and Camri cleaning crab. Yum.

The boys caught crab right on the beach. Here they are after cooking it up. It was a lot of the work but all the guys said the crab was aweosme!

Bowling and a Wedding!

Aunt Michele and Grandma Jan took us bowling when we came to visit. This was Camri's first time and boy did she love it! Or at least for about two turns... Here is aunt Michele showing Cammers how it is done. We had so much fun with their family, her boys were so sweet to Camri and Michele was wonderful and kept her for a whole day so Steve and I could go to the museums in D. C. We are so thankful to have such wonderful family nearby. Thanks guys! We love you all!
She tried and was successful in getting the ball onto the ramp all by herself. I guess those are Steve's genes.

Camri thought she was such a big girl she should be able to pick up her own ball.

Here is Camri rolling her ball, looking for a strike.

Daddy tying those ugly bowling shoes on Cammers

Eating French pancakes at Great Grammy Jan's house. She loved Grandma's pancakes, and she was so sweet she made them both mornings for us.

Me, Camri and Andra. Andra and I have been friends since we were 11 years old. I was so happy that we could be there for her wedding. The wedding was beautiful, and as you can see- so was the bride!

Camri being revrent in the church... Who'd have known she could do that! I have never seen anything like it.

Fun in Utah!

This is the face I came home to. I have never seen my dear husband with a beard. I hope never to again. I made him shave it. Friends don't let friends look like this. Ha, ha... Just kidding babe. But seriously, never again.
Me and Cam with the Clawson Clan.

Is Grammy Sonja the cutest, or what?!

Feeding the horses in Grandma Carolyn's back field. The kids loved it and the horses were beautiful.

Micky is my awesome friend from high school. We had a ton of fun just hanging out.

Camri loved the waterfall in Grandma Sonja's yard.

All of the Clawson Grandkids together for a picture. Are they cute or what?!

Here is Cam with Brandon ( my baby brother) and his fiance, Vanessa.

No swimsuit needed....

Camri playing in the fountains at Gateway Mall. She loved it.

She also loved playing in my Aunt Liz's bathroom sink. It's a cool sink, but she used it more like a kiddie pool.

Notice she likes the water? Ya, she's obsessed. She couldn't even wait to put on a swimsuit to play in the sprinklers at my mom's house.

Camri with her Great-Grandma Donna.

Camri loved spending time playing with her Papa Steve.

I know all parents think their child is the cutest, but look at this face!
