It's Been a While...

Since we posted... So here we go, welcome to our lameness...
We haven't been doing much. Sadly, we have just been hanging out around the house and doing daily chores. We did get out the other evening to do a little swimming. We took Capri for the first time and the moment her little toes touched the cool water she started to cry. Mommy and Capri ended up sun ( or rather shade) bathing while Camri and Daddy played in the water. Doesn't she look cute in her little bathing suit and hat? I loved it.
Camri's old swimsuit.... 6-12 month size and we nearly had to use Crisco to get Cap into it.
Chub-A-Lub
This is Capri's latest and greatest accomplishment- finding her fingers. They almost never leave her mouth.
Gotta love that cute Cammers. She was so sick of me taking pictures of them. All she wanted was to get to the pool. Mommy and her darn camera.

Family Pictures

I love the look on Capri's chubby face in this picture.

It has been my mission to get more pictures of me with my girls. I love these ones.

We had my mom take some pictures for us out in Utah, since we needed some updated pictures. Then my cousin took some pictures for us, which I love! (Thanks Stef!) The location with the waterfall was my favorite!

Happy 6 Year Anniversary

This is Steve, wanting to wish a very Happy Anniversary to my beautiful wife of 6 years. Sadly, we're spending the day apart while I'm in Utah for my little brother's wedding since we couldn't afford to send the whole family again. But I want her to know that I miss her dearly and am glad that she's put up with me for so long. Happy Anniversary my love, six years gone by and many, many more to go! Thank you for being such a wonderful companion and mother to our gorgeous daughters. I love you more than I can tell.

Capriel 3 months

Well... Let me try that again. I could see the pics on my computer, but I guess I was the only one! Capri is such a sweet girl. Lately she's been going on "sleep strikes" but other than that she is such a good baby. She has a ton of blond hair and looks just like her daddy. We're hoping her blue eyes stay, but time will tell. She laughs, talks and squeals all day. She loves making eye contact and getting lots of attention and snuggles. We love it. I just can't believe we've had her for three months already! I can't picture our family without her, she is just so darling.

Lagoon and the Hogel Zoo

Lagoon!

Camri started the day at Lagoon off by getting soaked waiting for the rides to open in the morning. Luckily, Grandma Carolyn bought her some lovely (ok, they're actually quite hideous) water shoes so she wouldn't have wet feet all day.
She really liked the bumper cars. She drove it in circles, but loved getting hit by the other cars.
She rode "Puff" with Grandma Carolyn.
The "Lady Bug Bop" was her favorite ride though. It's like a mini version of the "Rocket", and I'm not gonna lie- it made my stomach a little woozy. Camri loved it. She rode it until she puked. (Literally) She had so much fun riding the rides. Every time she saw a big roller coaster she would beg to go on it. Unfortunately, she was about 10 inches too short to go on the rides she wanted to. Yep, she's our little dare devil.

The Zoo:
This was all Capri did at Lagoon and the Zoo. Poor girl just suffocated in the car seat in the heat. She was a trooper.
When it got too hot we ate huge snow cones.
Cam and I and an elephants backside. Lovely.

We saw the cutest little turtle at the zoo... though she wasn't much of a fit for her shell.
Mommy and Capri
Camri loved the snake slide!
Here we are on the train at the zoo. Camri loved it, and wanted to ride it again.
Camri had a lot of fun with her aunt Amy, she was always asking to go play with her. When they did get together all they could do was fight over toys. Gotta love toddlers.
Posted by PicasaCapri didn't seem to impressed with the train ride, but she bravely withstood the heat.

Shouldn't it be illegal for your children to get this big in one little year? I think so!

The Fourth of July and a Blessing!

We blessed Capriel Marie Clawson on July 4th 2010
Our Forever Family

Mommy and Capri

Daddy gave her a beautiful blessing.

Camri LOVED the fireworks this year! she stayed up through all of them and was asking for days to see more. She stayed up for 19 hours straight on the third of July, between the flight through the fireworks. Needless so say, she crashed big time that night.
I loved taking pictures of the fireworks!

Capri and Aunt Jana
Camri loved the sparklers... kind of.
