Family Pictures.

Every time we come to town my mom makes us endure the grueling process of family pictures.
Now, don't get me wrong, I love family pictures. I just hate trying to get my girls to smile and be good for family pictures since it inevitably ends with girls crying and mom screaming. I was hoping this time would be different...

Ya, um... It wasn't. By the end of Capri's screaming fits, and Camri's insistence on looking away from the camera and proclaiming, " I don't want anymore pictures!", this was how I was feeling about the whole experience:
Luckily, my fabulous cousin Stefanie got some some great shots anyway. She was so sweet and patient with our crazy anti-photo antics. Thanks again, Stef. Your awesome!

I really like this one of Steve and I

This one of Steve and Cam is definitely going in her room. She really is a "Daddy's Girl".

Grandma Carolyn's Pictures

It's pretty much tradition to take pictures of the girls with my sweet Mama every time we come to town, or she does. This time, Capri was seriously cantankerous. Alas, we tried anyway, and here are the best shots:

I LOVE the ones of Camri and my Mom. You can tell they have a real connection between the two of them.

The girls had so much fun with Grandma Carolyn. We ate good food, had good family around her house, and the girls loved playing with her bird, Compass. Thanks again, for another great trip. Love you.

June, oh, June...

Well, I'm sorry to say that I have done a horrible job keeping up our family blog. * Hanging head in shame*

There was a lot that went on, but between doing pictures and getting Primary ready for my being gone for a month, June sort of passed me by.

Here are some of the highlights:

Camri finished her first year of preschool! This was the best decision we could have made to send her. She loved every minute of it. Sadly, her preschool closed at the end of the school year. Luckily, we found her a new school that I'm sure she'll love. After talking with Camri a while, they moved her into the 4 year old class, which we are really excited about.

At the end of the year the kids do a themed program for parents and friends. This year it was "All American". The kids sang patriotic songs and dressed in red, white and blue. It was really cute. Here is a video of one one Camri's class' routines. She was definitely the most enthusiastic pom pom girl:

The 2-3 year old class was in charge of the "light show". Sounds exciting, right? Camri loved shining her flashlight in the darkened room. She also loved chatting it up with her friend, Lexi.
Here is Camri sitting with her classmates during the performance
Camri and I after the show. I know it sounds funny, but I was so proud of her. I can't believe my little girl is getting so big and grown up!

Because of my seriously awesome friend, Cortney, Steve and I got to go on a super special all day date:

We went home to Utah at the end of the month, and there are about 1,000 pictures for me to go through. :) Hopefully I will get some up soon!
