Welcome to Our Home!

Our bedroom is in serious need of wall decor! The only thing up right now is a calendar and a small picture of the Salt Lake Temple. We need to get something for above the bed but I am a bit stuck right now for ideas.
The master bathroom. I still need to figure what to put on the top of the toilet. Right now I just leave my ipod dock there. Any suggestions?
Camri's room is my favorite room in the house cause that's where our little princess sleeps and plays. It is such a beautiful room and I just look at all the gifts she's had from grandma's and great grandma's and other loving faily members, it reminds me of home and gives Camri comfort everyday.

Welcome to our house for the next four years at least! We are completely moved in, no boxes in sight! YAY!!
Some days Steve likes to unwind and play Camri some songs on our weighted keyboard.
Our Family room is the hangout most of the time, probably because the t.v. is in there.
Steve's t.v., his pride and joy. The entertainment center is a bit cluttered with Camri's toys. She loves to climb up and put her mouth on the glass and hear her teeth clank on it. I have to clean it about 12 times a day if I want it clean, it always has her slobber marks on it.
These are the stairs Camri loves to climb, and as a result of that, much stress for me.

Everyone has been asking me to send them pictures of what our little townhouse looks like so here are a few of the rooms. I didn't feel the need to post the small second bathroom, the messy office that doubles as a craft room, or the family room downstairs with it's ugly linoleum that is basically just overflow, mostly Steve's weights and my nail desk. Your not missing anything. Sorry the pictures came up out of order, I never proclaimed to be computer literate. Love and miss you all!!

I think Camri has her first crush, she absoloutely LOVES Andrew. He kept her entertained and laughing all night! The kids all had fun playing together too. Camri just wanted to keep up with Andrew and Landon, she was crawling all night trying to follow them around. It was really cute because you could tell she thought they were just the coolest kids around. For some reason they thought the stroller was the cool hang out, all three of them took turns playing in it at one point in the night. Why do we even buy toys with cool gadgets like strollers?

Happy Birthday To ME!!

Look at those handsome husbands! Are we the luckiest girls or what?!
The boys are twice as lucky!
Opening presents was pretty funny too, Matt and Debbie thought it would be funny to wrap my book in the new toothbrush box that all the first year dental students got. For a minute I honestly thought it was a toothbrush! Aren't they clever? ( or maybe I'm just a little slow?!)
I seriously couldn't get enough of little Kylee. She was just the most precious thing! I think I hogged her a little through most of the evening, sorry about that Debbie and Matt, but she's too cute!

As most of you know my birthday was on Sunday, August 3rd, I was feeling a little bit bummed since this was my first birthday away from home and all my family and friends so I thought I would throw myself a small birthday party! In attendance were Andrew and Annie Duncan along with their two darling boys Andrew and Landon, and Matt and Debbie Stafford with the newest and cutest member of their family, Kylee. We had dinner and a tasty chocolate eclair cake. ( I want the recipe Debbie!) Thanks so much to our good friends who came and made it such an awesome birthday!

CHECK THIS OUT!!

Gooooo Camri! She is standing for longer and longer periods! We are so amazed by her! She is also officially a stair climber. I try to keep her away from them but she knows they are a quick way to get my attention, the little devil. She will crawly up and put her hands on the first stair and give me the " come and get me" grin. It is a game to torture and scare the daylight out of mama these days. ( anyone have a good idea on barricading a set of stairs that only has one wall and the other side a metal banister? A baby gate doesn't work.) She climbed all fourteen of our stairs yesterday in about a minute and a half. She's incredible! She is completely fearless, which scares the crap out of me! Thanks and we hope everyone is doing good. Oh, and I weighed the chunky monkey today and she is 17 lb 15 oz!

A New Hobby!

Camri has found a new hobby. Destruction! But seriously, she loves to crawl over to the bookcase and tear every dvd she can get her hands on. Then she crawls around on them and slips and falls. She got a cut on her nose doing this just the other day and I was freaking out because she was bleeding. Her first boo boo was more traumatic for me than her I think, but she is doing fine and it is healing. She has been into everything lately, her favorite thing to do is get in the kitchen drawer where I keep the ziploc baggies and tear them out of the box and distribute them about the house. She is keeping me on my toes, but we are all having a lot of fun!

Camri Goes Swimming!

When we took her to the ocean, she didn't like it much so we were pleasantly suprised when we took her to the pool and she loved it. She was kicking and moving around like a little frog. Until Mommy accidentally dunked her. OOPS!

Virginia Beach!

On Tuesday we went to Virginia Beach, which is about two hours away from us. Camri was a total angel and slept the whole way down. Once we were there we thought we would see how Camri liked the water. She didn't. She would shriek at the top of her lungs if even her little toes touched the water. Oddly enough, she prefered to sit on the beach and eat the sand. I didn't catch the first handful but I got what I could out of her mouth. That turned into a game and the rest of the afternoon we played "keep the sand out of Camri's mouth". She thought it was hysterical, as you can see if you enlarge that last picture, she still has sand all over her mouth. It was about a hundred degree's at about 100% humidity though, and Steve and I got a little sunburned. Ouch. All in all it was a wonderful trip and we love it out here!
