Happy Fourth of July

My mom was awesome and kept Camri for me so I could run. They were both waiting for me at the finish line. I was so glad she was there, but I sure missed Steve.
All the girls in our family ran the 5k. Here I am with my sister Jana after finishing the run.
Mommy and Camri after the race. I came in 12th out of 291 girls running! Not bad for a first timer!!

Great Grandma Donna make the best chocolate cake, just ask Camri!

Our red, white and blue girl playing at Great-Grandma's house

Papa Gary with his girls

Here is Camri holding her sweet cousin, Sophie.
She loved Sophie, she just wanted to hold her and steal her binki all day.

Camri decided she loved her corn on the cob so much that she would eat mine with me.

We had a great holiday out here in Utah! I ran my first 5K and made pretty good time, ( for me, that is...) 23:41. There were some hills and my only goal at that point was beating the 75 year old man who ran beside me most of the race. Talk about motivation. We then went and saw family in Plain City and Farr West for lunch at my Grammy's house, then had dinner with Mom and Dad Clawson. We had an awesome day, but we are sure missing Daddy! Hope everone had a safe, fun day!

Hello From Utah! Pics of Camri, 19 Months

Our little princess. She is 100% girl.

Here are some pics that my talented, wonderful, beautiful sister in law took of Camri. She is now ninteen months old. I just can't belive how fast the time has gone. She is just the most beautiful, sweet, energetic little girl and we are so thankful to have her in our family. We are having an awesome time out here in Utah with all of our family, but we sure miss all of our good friends in Virginia too. We love you all and will see you soon.

Weekend Fun...

This is Camri stretching her legs after being in the car and then the stroller all afternoon. She loved the stairs in front of this old building downtown. She just kept going up... then down them about a hundred times. I wish I had some of this girls energy.
Enjoying a sweet treat for being so good all afternoon! I know she hates being in the stroller but the sidewalks were almost as crazy busy as the road was.

We had a really fun weekend! Camri and I went to a really cute birthday party for a darling little girl who lives a couple houses down. The pictures with her in the yellow dress were taken just before we went to the party. Then on Saturday we decided to go to Carytown and check out some of the local shops. We went to a chocolate store that had THE BEST chocolate I have ever had! We ate chocolate and walked up and down Cary St. It was fun to explore downtown Richmond.

Happiness for a Dollar!

Camri has been stealing the neighbors sidewalk chalk for a week, so I thought we'd go get some of her own. This girl loves her sidewalk chalk. She has been happily playing with it for days now. ( and still trying to steal the neighbors chalk.... ) I didn't know how cheap it was though! We got some at Walgreens for a buck. Who knew you could buy happiness so cheap?

Picture Overload. Memorial Day at the Lake.

A group of friends invited us to go to Smith Mountain Lake for a couple nights over Memorial Day weekend and we had such a good time! ( Thanks again Kev and Sam!) We rented a house that had it's own dock... As you can see here. We had so much fun swimming in the lake, playing games after the kids went to bed, eating way too much ( understatement of the year!) and staying up way too late! How could we not have fun with the company we had? Our friends are awesome, they totally made our weekend. Thanks guys, your the best!
This was Camri's reaction to seeing the water, or "Wadee!!!" as she is saying here. Does she look excited? I can't tell....

She loved getting right to the edge of the water and lean over the dock. It gave me a heart attack!

This was the crusty look she gave me when I would tell her to get away from the edge of the water before she fell in and gave me a heart attack.

Here is Kevin during our dive contest. He got a great score for his backflop.... I mean backflip.

Here we are playing badminton.

The handsome Hubby's

Annie, me, Sam and Debbie striking a pose!

Me and Cam lounging on the beach.

She loved playing in the sand, and luckily, I didn't see her try to eat any this time.

Ahhhhh.... Love.

The water was a little chilly but Camri totally loved playing in it. If you look close you can see her little lips are purple, but she didn't want to get out.

Is it just me or do those floatee's look a little big on her?

This girls loves the outdoors. Everytime we would go in for anything, she would tell us "outside". She wanted to be outside all day long.

I love how happy she looks in this picture. She has the face of an angel even if she doesn't always act like one!

I played with the tuning on this one. I thought it was just so cute in Black and White.

Family Pictures Spring 2009

She looks like such a cranky pants in this picture.

I think this is the only family picture she was actually smiling in.

I love the use of color in this picture! Thank you Photoshop!

Camri taking time to smell the roses....

Steve says this is his all time favorite picture... He loves his girls!
