Picture Overload. Memorial Day at the Lake.

A group of friends invited us to go to Smith Mountain Lake for a couple nights over Memorial Day weekend and we had such a good time! ( Thanks again Kev and Sam!) We rented a house that had it's own dock... As you can see here. We had so much fun swimming in the lake, playing games after the kids went to bed, eating way too much ( understatement of the year!) and staying up way too late! How could we not have fun with the company we had? Our friends are awesome, they totally made our weekend. Thanks guys, your the best!

This was Camri's reaction to seeing the water, or "Wadee!!!" as she is saying here. Does she look excited? I can't tell....

She loved getting right to the edge of the water and lean over the dock. It gave me a heart attack!

The water was a little chilly but Camri totally loved playing in it. If you look close you can see her little lips are purple, but she didn't want to get out.

Is it just me or do those floatee's look a little big on her?

This girls loves the outdoors. Everytime we would go in for anything, she would tell us "outside". She wanted to be outside all day long.

I love how happy she looks in this picture. She has the face of an angel even if she doesn't always act like one!

I played with the tuning on this one. I thought it was just so cute in Black and White.

Ok guys, I need help! I can't decide which of these should go up on our walls. I need One 11X14, and two 5X7's for the front room and I need one for our bedroom of just Steve and I. I can't decide which ones to use. Please help, let me know which ones are your faves because I am having a hard time deciding. thanks for the input!

Sneak Peak at Family Pictures

My superwonderful and amazingly talented friend Cortney took our pictures for us, and I wanted to give a sneak peak of how they turned out. This girl is an amazing photographer, and she did us such a sweet favor since she is doing all this while getting ready to move! Thank you Cortney, you are the best! Camri was a total pill duing the whole shoot, but I really thought this picture was good. You couldn't tell she was having a "Diva Moment". The water was really high at the river so this was a bit of a dangerous sight to be photographed, but luckily Steve is a stud and got us all out on the rock safely. Our dear friend Brooke helped us with Camri too, and was such a life saver! Thanks Brooke for your help.

Camri's Ice Cream

After spending almost three hours in the car ( just to get to dinner, which was still an hour away from home) we decided to stop on the last stretch and get a sweet treat to make the rest of the drive a little better. Needless to say she loved it, and got it everwhere.

I loved these pictures of Camri in her sunglasses. She hardly ever keeps them on but she did for a while today in the car.

She was also trying to get her shoes back on... dunno why since she spent the first hour in the car trying to get them off.

Here is Camri and Kylee. We went to the temple with the Staffords and did the kid swap so we could each do a session. Kylee was an angel, and we had a ton of fun with our sweet friends.

She's even cute when she's getting into trouble.

I was in the living room reading and I heard Camri messing around in the kitchen cabinet. I knew when I heard her get the can of potato pearls that she would try to get the can open.

I honestly did not think she could get it open, but after about a minute of silence on her end I went in to investigate. This is what I found. She was cramming handfuls of the potato pearls into her mouth like a ravenous beast. I promise I feed this girl! I thought it was totally disgusting that she was eating them, but it was too funny not to photograph. There were potato pearls all over the floor. You can see how proud and happy she is eating them. Yuck!
