On Tuesday we went to Virginia Beach, which is about two hours away from us. Camri was a total angel and slept the whole way down. Once we were there we thought we would see how Camri liked the water. She didn't. She would shriek at the top of her lungs if even her little toes touched the water. Oddly enough, she prefered to sit on the beach and eat the sand. I didn't catch the first handful but I got what I could out of her mouth. That turned into a game and the rest of the afternoon we played "keep the sand out of Camri's mouth". She thought it was hysterical, as you can see if you enlarge that last picture, she still has sand all over her mouth. It was about a hundred degree's at about 100% humidity though, and Steve and I got a little sunburned. Ouch. All in all it was a wonderful trip and we love it out here!

You three look so good and Camri is getting so big. I can't believe you both are gone, I miss you already. I guess that means that we will just have to schedule a time to come out and visit you guys. Keep us informed as to how you three are doing and Hopefully we will see you three soon.
Hey, Ashley! I did get your comment to my posting a few days ago, but haven't really had a chance to reply until now. I am so proud of you and your beautiful little family! If I did have anything to do with helping to raise you, I done good! Your daughter is totally adorable. The only babies I can think of who might be cuter are my own grandchildren, and since I don't have any of those yet, Camri must hold the title until I do!

I love it that we're all connected with blogs now--it's like I have my whole family back!!!! You are so beautiful Ash and your family is too! I like the suit you had on--I need to find me one like that to hide questionable regions lol. I love you girl and hope that you are settling in well--it's a bit of a culture shock coming out here!
Oh the East Coast, what fun! It is so nice to get to have time to get closer as a family. You all look so happy! I am so glad you are getting around and having fun before Steve starts school! We still miss you here!
Well Princess!!! This is Gary and I've been keeping up through Andi. VA Beach is a great place (but the traffic does suck!) and the folks there are cool. I'm up here in DC in a townhouse. NOVA is pretty different from UT in that you have to learn the NASCAR slang out here. Believe me that when you blurt out something that's unique to Utah, people look at you funny (especially when a "my hell" pops out of your mouth). You'll also notice that everyone is stockpiled with "f-bombs" out here, so don't get caught off guard. LOL!!! I love the pics and its great that you're having the chance to explore the world with your new family. It's bad enough that I have a gmail account (Andi gave me hell about being a "sheep"). I don't think I'm going to do a blog. I believe I'll do well by tossing a few "drive-by's" as I have time. I start my last class in my Masters Program next week and then have my research paper to do next spring to finish up. After that, I think I'll take a vacation!
