For the last couple weeks I would swear that Cam was drooling and chewing even more than she usually does and sure enough a couple of nights ago when I looked into her mouth I could see two little tooth buds! The one on her right is coming in quicker and I can even feel a little sharp point coming in, the other one is just behind it but coming in in full force. So far we have tried teething tablets, a baltic amber neclace, cold toys, ice chips in her mesh feeder.... Nothing is really working so i broke down and gave her tylenol. Any suggestions? This could be a long week! (or more from what I hear! Ugghhh!)

Our Day at the Hogel Zoo
Last Saturday we took Camri to the zoo for the first time! We went with our friends Tannon and Mckal. It was a really sunny, beautiful day. Camri seemed to enjoy being outside and even got a little sun despite us slathering her in SPF 50. I don't think she paid much attention to the animals, but she was loving all the people and little kids that were there! Steve and I decided that we wouldn't be taking her back to the zoo on a Saturday though, there were so many people there! We walked almost a mile to get to and from out car! We went to dinner after too, at our favorite downtown restraunt, Charlie Chows. Yum!

Our Yankee Doodle....
Even thought my Yanks are having a rough start this season I had to put her in her pinstripe outfit. (Mostly for Gary, Jeff, and of course Nick who all despise my team!) I was worried that people would think she was a boy so I had to smack a bow on her head. Needless to say nobody thought she looked like a boy, and I thought these pictures turned out just darling.
Kyle and Camri
Nick and Jana and their lovely family came to visit and so we had to get some pictures of the babies in our family. Debi was sweet enough to take some more pictures for me. Thanks Deb! I thought they were too cute to not post. As you can see Kyle has a couple pounds on Camri, but they were so darling together! You would never guess that Camri is almost 10 weeks older that Kyle, aye? I can't wait for Nick and Jana to come back out so I can get my hands on him again!

Mothers Day
As most of you know this was my first mothers day, and I must say Steve did an amazing job in the "gift department". He gave me a bouquet of Stargazing Lillies (my favorite), a beautiful key chain from Kiddie Kandids with Camri's picture on it, and my personal favorite, a beautiful Proclamation to the Family! My mom gave me a double digital frame that I absolutely LOVED too. So needless to say I was totally spoiled this year. It was such a great day because I got to see all the wonderful mothers in my family, even Jana! I know what an important part my Mom and Mother in law, sisters, and grandma's have played in my life and I am so thankful for them and I hope that I will be half as fabulous as they are! Much love to all the Mommy's and Grandma's in our family, we love you and hope you had a great day too!

She Sits!! Well... Kind Of.
For weeks I have been working with Camri on sitting unassisted and I was worried that she wasn't doing it yet, she was still so unsteady! So to my suprise when I took Camri to see her great Grandma Applonie and sat her on the floor, she sat by herself really well! Steve and I played with her on the floor for a while before it dawned on us that we should video it so she was a little tired and wasn't sitting quite as good but it is still cute. It seems like every time I start to worry that she won't reach a milestone she goes and does it. Maybe she just likes to see me worry. And if that is true I am really in for it when she becomes a teenager!

Steve's Graduation!
On Friday May 2nd Steve graduated from the University of Utah with his batchelors degree, majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. He has worked so hard the last few years to get his degree, he even went 9 consecutive semesters, including summers! (CRAZY!) The whole family is so pr0ud of him. His graduation day was great, one of the speakers was John Huntsman Jr. the Governor of Utah! Even Camri seemed intrigued by the number of people and the noise in Kingsbury Hall. After the ceremony we all went to dinner at Charlie Chow's, our favorite chinese restraunt in downtown Salt Lake. We are having Steve's graduation party on Saturday May 10th to celebrate when Nick and Jana will be in town! I'll post pictures of that later!
