Crazy Amounts of Pictures: Disneyworld

The good news is we had a lot of fun in Disneyworld. The bad news is we were there for record breaking cold fronts! It was officially the coldest week on record in Florida. There was supposed to be one cold day with mostly sunny skies the rest of the week. Nope. Needless to say we all froze out butts off, but luckily I had packed some warm clothes and hats and gloves for the girls. The fist day we went to Magic Kingdom it poured rain most of the day, and was pretty cold. The girls were troopers though, and because of the bad weather the lines for rides weren't too bad. So we rode rides all day. Camri went on the Haunted Mansion ride, and even though it scared her she asked to go again. She refers to that ride as "the Scary". She kept asking to go on the roller coasters that were meant for adults, and that she was no where near big enough to ride. Thats our high adventure thrill seeking little girl!

Here are some pictures of our trip to the Magic Kingdom. We were there for three days, so brace yourselves- there are a ton of pictures.

Camri and Daddy stood in line for over an hour to get to meet all the fairies.

Camri and Tinkerbell

Capri was obviously looking for lunch... She kind of assaulted this busty fairy. It was super funny.

This is what Capri did most of the day. Despite the cold she was a sweet little princess almost the whole time. I couldn't believe how good she was.

This was the first princess Camri got to see. She loves Ariel, but was a bit apprehensive at first. She kept staring and smiling at her, it was so cute!

Catch Up! Early Christmas!

The wrapping paper was delicious.
And so was the doll. :)

Grandma and Papa Clawson got the girls some really fun stuff to take with us to Disneyworld, so they were able to open some Christmas presents early! Camri loved the princess camera and phone, but her favorite was the Belle doll, she took that thing everywhere with us in Florida. Capri loved the baby doll, she spent her time trying to put it's head in her mouth. Thanks Grandma and Papa!

Thanksgiving: Better Late Than Never!

This year for Thanksgiving we went to South Carolina to visit Steve's darling sister and her family. It was so worth the six hour drive! We had so much fun, and the kids got along great! Jana and I went Black Friday shopping and got some awesome deals, and had some fun girl time in between cooking and babies. ( Did I mention there were 7 kids under the age of 6 in the house? 3 of them under the age of 1!) Jana, thank you so much! You were the perfect hostess, and everything was wonderful!

Our family of "turkeys" Jana made us all turkey hats. Too cute!
Camri's partner in crime, Kyle. She loved wrestling and playing with her 5 cousins, but her and Kyle had the most fun.

You can tell Capri was having a ball...

Playing Catch- Up!

In the last month I have taken both the girls for their check-ups and I wanted to share their stats!

Capri:

At her six month check up:

Height:28.5" (100th %)
Weight: 20 lbs 1 oz ( 98th %)
Head: 18" (95%)

The doctors called her height, "Off the Charts". Thats our girl. She is growing up so fast! She rolls all over the place! She also scoots in circles to scout out the place she wants to get to, then procedes to roll over until she reaches her destination. It's hilarious. She is sleeping better, though it is still hit-and-miss. I think she just likes to snuggle Mama whenever she can get away with it. She is eating rice cereal 2x a day with fruits and veggies. I'm trying my hand at making her baby food myself, and so far, so good. She loves the green beans, carrots, and sweet potatoes I've made her. She also likes mashed banana in her morning cereal. She is sitting up like a champ, and playing with her sister more all the time. She loves to steal toys and vacuum the carpet for things she shouldn't have. She laughs like it's going out of style. I love her sweet giggles. She is incredibly ticklish and loves the attention her squeals get her. She also loves it when you stroke her tummy and back. She'll stop whatever she's doing, and hold perfectly still while you tickle her back. We love it. She is teething like mad. she has two on bottom, one poked through on top with two that we are expecting to pop through any day now. Despite the pain of teething she remains mostly happy and sweet. I can't remember what life was like with out her. And I don't want to. She is such a wonderful addition.

Camri:

At her 3 year check up:

Height: 38.5" (75th%)
Weight: 32.4 lbs (50th%)

I'm not sure where to start with Camri. She grows more beautiful every day. She is loving preschool, she thrives in the class room environment. Her teacher is always telling me how smart and energetic she is. She sings songs, dances, and plays all day. She loves to watch movies, (right now "Mulan" is her favorite) sing along to the radio, run, read, shop, and play with her little sister. She is the best big sister around. She protects her from other kids and shares her toys without being asked. I hope this lasts forever! (Ha, I know it won't, but let me dream!) She is amazing. She surprises me with her intellect and sensitivity every day. She makes me crazier than I dare admit, but I love her so much more than I could ever say. I feel so blessed to have these girls in my life.

Grandma Carolyn's Visit

Grandma Carolyn came out for Camri's birthday again this year, and boy did we have fun. All we did was shop, hang out, shop, go to dinner, shop... did I mention we did some shopping? We had so much fun with her out here. The girls were so sad to see her go, Camri was asking for her days after she'd gone home. Thanks again mom, for the wonderful time. We love you! I hope you enjoy the pictures, I love them.
