She's Here!!

Just thought I would jump on and let everyone know that our lovely Capriel Marie Clawson arrived on Monday, May 10th at 12:51 p.m. We are all doing well and are loving every minute with this precious little girl. Camri is thrilled to be a big sister! She can't stop loving on her, bringing her "lovies" and of course, helping Mommy with diaper changes and binki patrol. When I get a minute I will put up more pictures of our sweet um's.

Mothers Day!

Me with my most awesome Mom and Camri! We had such an awesome day, went to church, had a nice dinner, and then off went Steve and I to go to the hospital to start my induction! What a great mothers day present to have my Mom with me, and to get to add another member to our family. Too bad we didn't get her until Monday. :)

Officially Overdue.

Well, Capri is not in any hurry to get out into the world. I would just ask that everyone keep us in their thoughts and prayers as we try to get this little one here safely. I keep joking with Steve saying that I'm going to have to swallow fire and smoke her out! Hopefully, we won't have to resort to that. I just wanted to say thanks so much to all our good friends who've helped us along the way. We will let you all know when she gets here, and until then- Wish us luck! Hopefully the next post will have some new baby photos! (And be generally much more exciting!)

Belly Picture 40 Weeks!

Camri wanted to be in all my belly pictures and cried when I made her get out of the one of just me. So we took some belly pictures of just her. Here she is showing off her little tummy. I just loved the face she was making in the picture above. Thats exactly how I felt about having my picture taken at that moment...

Swimming

My sweet friend invited us over for a dip in her new pool last week. Yes, I let people take pictures of me 9+ months pregnant in a bathing suit. Never thought that would happen. Camri couldn't decide if she liked the pool or not, but for the most part she had fun kicking and playing with her friends. Here she is in her new ladybug swimsuit. She loves ladybugs right now so it was hard to get her out of it when we were done.

Another False Alarm!

So glad to report that at my ultrasound on Monday, everything looked great! They guessed that she is weighing in at a whopping 7 lbs. 7oz. So, with two weeks until my induction we now know there is nothing "small" about this baby! In fact, I hope she doesn't grow too much more... :) Camri was only 7 lbs. 3 oz. ! Camri and I went to have the ultrasound done, and this time she did sooo much better, she didn't even yell at the technician this time. She was excited to see her baby sister, and kept telling me she would help me get her binki, and a new diaper, and hold her. It really was too cute. Now lets hope she's as thrilled when Capri gets here! I just keep looking at this picture and thinking about how much she looks like Camri did when she was a newborn. They have the same nose and mouth, and I think their eyes will be similar too. I wish the little stinker would have woken up and moved that little arm out of the way, but she was out cold and in no mood to cooperate. So, the view of her face isn't great, but you can't miss her little arm and hand in fron t of it. We are so excited to get her safely here, as long as it's after all of Steve's finals are done! We can't wait to meet her, and since my due date is in 9 days, we don't have to much longer! I am set to be induced on May 10th, if all goes well. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
