Introducing Dr. Clawson... Again!

At the end of February, Steve graduated top in his class from his Orthodontic program at CU. We are so unbelievably proud of him and all that he has achieved over the last 30 months, and know that he has greatness in his future! The Clawson Clan and Grandma Carolyn came out to help us celebrate in the festivities.

When the Clawsons come to town, there are games to be played:

The school set up a lovely brunch buffet complete with a build your own omelet bar (which Steve proudly takes ownership to both arranging and then bankrupting), pancakes, bacon, fruit and all matter of breakfast goodness. There was a lovely (albeit lengthy) presentation given. Here we are after, getting our pictures taken.

We decided Camri was old enough to accompany us to this graduation. She loved the breakfast and hated the long, boring speeches.

It was a wonderful day! One short week later Steve set off for the lovely state of Washington to begin a career in two practices with Comfort Braces.

Valentines Day

Well, I've been really bad about taking pictures so far this year. I'm making a resolution to do better, though. So- I am Camri's room mother at school and so I put on their Valentine's Day party. I decided on a Minute to Win It theme and set up fun games for the kids. I think they all had a pretty good time! I loved watching Camri interact with her class mates. They all love her so much! I also helped with Capri's V- Day party, but I forgot to take my camera! Bah!

Camri with her friend Ilene. Ilene is a sweet little gal who completely adores Camri. She is constantly giving Camri little trinkets. They are such sweet friends.

I got a lot of compliments this year on Camri's cute Heart hair do.

Happy Birthday Titan!!

I can't believe my baby boy is two already! And he is such a handsome little man!

Titan loves to play any game with a ball, especially catch and kicking the soccer ball. He is full of personality and loves to tease. He likes to eat pizza and applesauce and anything sweet. He keeps us laughing constantly, whether at him or with him. We love this sweet, spunky little dude!

Christmas Fun 2014

We had a really great holiday season. We stayed busy with Christmas crafts, driving around to look at lights, drinking hot chocolate and making (gluten free!) treats. Here we are making Christmas trees out of sugar cones.

As always, we bought the kids new Christmas digs and forced them to pose for a photo or twenty. Here is the best I managed to get. Three kids is definitely harder to coordinate than three!

Getting our Christmas crafting on!

Christmas eve we always open one gift. Usually, we get jammies. This year we got slippers! The girls loved theirs:

And Titan absolutely hated his! He kept saying, "No, thank you!!". This is the first, and only time he has worn his slippers.

Christmas morning was so much fun this year! The kids all loved tearing into presents, which were plentiful thanks to awesome family members.
Capri completely ignored the bed for her doll, Samantha. She was super excited by the horse for her though!

Titan is completely obsessed with Spider man right now, so he loved this man doll!

Camri scored some awesome American Girl Doll accessories!

A couple of days before Christmas (and after I'd finished Christmas shopping) we went to a friends house. Her little girl had this Sofia the First Amulet and Capri loved it. She played with it the entire time we were there, and kept telling us how much she missed it after we left. Needless to say I got right online and payed extra shipping to get this one here on Christmas Eve. It has been such a hit! She loves it and has played with it all day, every day, and sleeping with it at night.

We hope everyone had as wonderful a Christmas as we did! We just can't believe another year has come and gone! Wow!

Thanksgiving Fun!

This year was a special year, in deed. Our G.G. came out for a visit!! We were all so excited that we would get to spend some time with our favorite old lady.

Now, I'm not going to say G.G. has a "favorite"... I'll let these pictures speak for themselves. ;) Titan was a G.G.'s boy, for sure!!

Capri enjoying some hot chocolate:

I was sure glad to have my grandma around this year for Thanksgiving. You see, it's our first "gluten free" Thanksgiving. That makes things a little trickier... So, she helped me fix the turkey, Jello with apple, GF rolls, stuffing, and even a GF apple pie. The pie was a bit of a disaster, but we proudly ate it! Here it is- the ugliest apple pie in creation

Capri being silly, as usual:

G.G. and her girl:

The bird was every bit as delicious as it looks:

Camri's favorite is the turkey leg:

Uncle Scotty came to visit at Thanksgiving too. He had so much fun playing with the kids and hanging out with Steve. We all love uncle scotty!
